Modern Reef RKS Saver 5L Refill Set Of 4
This is a refill version of our original Proportional Consumption RKS (Reef Keeping System). The same exact formula in a semi-diluted easy-to-prepare version to create a 5-litre set. To learn more about our Proportional Consumption RKS, please visit our guide section online.
Directions BASE KH1-R:
Shake vigorously and empty all the content of BASE KH1-R in a 5-liter clean and empty canister with a 5-liter guide mark. The 5-liter guide mark is important!
Fill 25% of the BASE KH1-R bottle with warm osmosis water, close the cap and shake vigorously, then empty it into the 5-liter canister. Repeat 2-3 times till no salt is left in the BASE KH1-R bottle.
Heat sufficient osmosis water using a microwave to fill the canister precisely till the 5-liter mark. The ideal temperature for the total preparation should be between 35-40°C for easy dissolving.
Close the canister and mix for 30 seconds. Repeat if it’s needed till it’s completely dissolved.
Let it sit to cool for 1 hour, and you can start using it.
