Built in WiFi, key parameter monitoring, and reliable equipment control. Prevent catastrophes, take corrective actions, and receive alerts to your smart phone when things go awry. Set reminders, log testing and dosing information, and keep tabs on your aquarium from anywhere in the world. All this and more is possible with the Neptune Apex Controller System. The included WiFi allows you to connect to the free Fusion Cloud interface, where you can do everything from calibrating probes to customizing outlets with just a few taps. Fusion also gives you the ability to monitor and control your Apex from anywhere and on nearly every device platform – computer, tablet, or smart phone – Windows, OSX, iOS, or Android.

A3 Apex Base Unit
The A3 Apex is a great entry into gaining full control over your tank, giving you everything you need to get up and running at an affordable price. Monitor temperature, pH, surface leaks, and water level with the ability to control additional aquarium equipment with the included EB632. The A3 Series Apex base unit includes a built-in audible alarm and three FMM ports for connecting all fluid monitoring sensors, an upgrade from the A2 Series which required a separate module purchase.

ENERGY BAR 632 – THE ULTIMATE POWER CONTROL HUB - (The UK outlet variation for United Kingdom).

When Neptune decided to create an Energy Bar for this new Apex, theye designed it from the ground up. Not only does the Energy Bar 632 have six 220V AC outlets, but it includes an internal 100W 24VDC power supply as well. That power supply feeds three built-in 1LINK ports as well as two 24VDC accessory ports.

Each individual outlet has independent power monitoring and there are individual LED indicators for each outlet.

CERTIFIED TO CE STANDARDS - Your safety is important to Neptune Systems. This is why we design every product to established safety standards. In the case of the Energy Bar 632, and given it is a line-voltage device, we have taken that a step further and confirmed it meets CE Safety Standards.

POWER MONITORING - Power information regularly monitored, you now know when your pump, skimmer, powerhead, UV, or any other device is not operating normally and an alert message can be sent. This enables you to catch issues right when they happen – or better yet when they are on the road to failure. Also, for many of us the cost of the electricity to run a successful aquarium is a major concern in our household. However, armed with this power usage information, we believe aquarists will not only be able to make operating and purchase decisions that will save them hundreds of pounds a year.

BUILT-IN 1LINK AND 24VDC PORTS - This Energy Bar has a built-in 100W, 24VDC power supply that can control up to three Neptune Systems 1LINK products like the WAV and DOS. It also includes two switchable 24V DC on/off outlets that are compatible with any 24V device under 30W and Neptune Systems 24V accessories like our Practical Multi-purpose Utility Pump (PMUP) and solenoid valve.

INDIVIDUAL OUTLET INDICATOR LED - Each Energy Bar AC outlet as well as the two 24VDC accessory ports have their own status LED. This LED tells you when that outlet is energized. The LED will also blink rapidly if a device is plugged in that exceeds the current capability for that outlet.

ALARMS AND DECISIONS BASED ON POWER - Since the Apex is receiving continual power usage data from the Energy Bar 632, it can be configured to send you notifications when a device is not using power as it should be. An example would be a return pump showing no power consumption when the outlet is on. Or, tell you when a skimmer has a clogged airline because power consumption will show differently than normal operation. These high and low limits are completed customizable by individual outlet. You can even use this power data to control other devices.

ALL OUTLETS RELAY SWITCHED - Times have changed and it is fairly uncommon now for aquariums to have AC devices that must be cycled on and off continuously. This means that we could now switch all AC outlets to relay switching.

*NEW* MOS Magnetic Optical Sensor
The Neptune MOS replaces the previous OS-1-M and features an updated design that fits into tighter spaces and helps to prevent water incursion into the sensor. The MOS plugs into an Apex FMM port and, using reflected infrared light, will signal your Apex when it changes state from being wet to dry or dry to wet. This sensor can be used for constructing your own ATO (auto-top-off), as a high-level warning sensor in your sump, water storage level sensor, and much more. The sensors can be mounted on any type of reservoir that has up to 1/4" thick walls.

LD-2 Surface Leak Detection Sensor
Neptune's LD-2 is a full sized leak detection probe perfect for inside your stand, on hard floors, on top of skimmer cups, or any other flat surface where an overflow may cause issues. If water ever touches the sensor, your Apex Controller will be instantly notified so you can take corrective action and avoid disaster.

Lab Grade, Double Junction Probes
The Apex system includes high-quality probes for monitoring your tank's temperature and pH. Calibration is a quick and simple process via the app dashboard, which will automatically recognize when your readings have stabilized and letting you know when to move to the next step-- no more guesswork and reading RAW data. In addition, the double junction pH probe will allow your readings to stay more stable without the need to calibrate as often.

Backwards Compatible and Easily Expandable
If you have any old modules, head units, energy bars, or other Apex accessories they will work flawlessly with the new Apex Controller. Want to add Salinity monitoring? Just connect a PM2 module. Need Dissolved O2 monitoring? Simply add a PM3. The Neptune Systems Apex is expandable and compatible, making it the ultimate reef tank aquarium controller.
