Coral Essentials Magnesium Up is a concentrated Magnesium Chloride/Magnesium Sulphate in granule form, in a handy 1.2kg bucket. For Aquarists with large tanks, it is an extremely cost effective way of providing your Alkalinity dosing.

Coral Essentials Magnesium Up is a concentrated Magnesium Chloride/Magnesium Sulphate in granule form, in a handy 1.2kg bucket. For Aquarists with large tanks, it is an extremely cost effective way of providing your magnesium dosing.

Mixing Instructions:
You can follow the simple recipe to make up solutions at 12,500ppm to match the Magnesium concentration of the Primary Care Magnesium + Trace pre-mix liquid solution. The full bucket makes up 10L at 12.500ppm. All instructions for the above are detailed on the bucket itself. Simply add Power Potassium for the complete Magnesium dosing additive with essential trace elements.

To achieve 12,500ppm of Magnesium in the solution, mix 1 Litre of RO Water with 43 grams of Magnesium Up.

Then, to add the correct amount of Trace Elements to the mix, Combine the above with:
1.0 ml of Coral Power Potassium
For easiest mixing, If possible, mix the Magnesium Chloride with 40% of the solution volume you require in a container and mix the Magnesium Sulphate in a separate container with 40% of the solution volume. When both are dissolved separately then mix together into your dosing container. Top up with RODI water to the desired total volume, mixing well again.

Otherwise Please make sure you only add enough RODI water to make up to the required litres of solution. Typically start with less than the required amount (80%), add the Magnesium Chloride slowly while mixing, then add the Magnesium Sulphate slowly while mixing. When dissolved then top up with RODI to the total amount of solution you require, mixing well again.
